Dr. Khatira Safari is a practitioner of Acupuncture certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine. She holds both degrees in Doctor of Acupuncture and Master’s in Science of Acupuncture from Virginia University of Integrative Medicine.
Dr. Safari is passionate about providing individualized treatment plans so that every appointment meets the needs of each patient. This tailored approach to healing uses a natural, non-invasive healthcare as part of patient treatment.
Dr. Safari utilizes a full range of Acupuncture diagnostic tools and clinical training to recommend and administer a wide range of effective treatment options in patient care. She treats variety of health concerns including Women’s health, Cosmetic acupuncture including micro-needling, Oncology care support, Digestive Health, Immune System Support, Pain Management, stress and anxiety management, sleep concerns, and general mental, spiritual, and physical wellbeing.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Safari is a busy mom of 3 boys who always keep her on her toes. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, whether it’s traveling, hiking, or watching a movie. And whenever she gets ‘alone’ time, it usually entails yoga, exercise, catching up with friends, or continuously expanding her knowledge in Acupuncture.
