Traditional Acupuncture is a time-tested healing system rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine
(TCM) that works by restoring harmony to the body’s energy pathways, known as meridians.
Acupuncture addresses chronic pain, fatigue, digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, or
emotional stress and offers a natural, effective way to bring the body back into equilibrium. A
traditional acupuncture treatment also includes Tui Na, Gua Sha, suction cupping, hot stones, and
TDP red light therapy to promote healing and balance.

This treatment works by gently inserting fine needles into the face and body to stimulate
collagen and elastin production, improve blood flow and lymphatic drainage, soften fine lines
and wrinkles, reduce puffiness, acne, and hyperpigmentation, lift and tone facial muscles,
altogether to restore a healthy, radiant glow.
Cosmetic acupuncture treatment sessions will include facial needling, facial cupping, facial Gua
Sha, lymphatic draining, buccal and masseter massage, microcurrent, and rejuvenating skincare.

Having honed her skills at the prestigious Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego, California, she is a Licensed Acupuncturist practicing in Northern Virginia, specializing in the transformative field of cosmetic acupuncture, reproductive care, and pain management. Her journey into the realm of healing began with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, Food, and Exercise and minor in Psychology from Virginia Tech. This foundation not only instilled a profound understanding of the interconnectedness between nutrition, physical wellness, and mental health, but also fueled a dedication to fostering holistic well-being. Dr. Kim obtained extensive training with a certification from the Facial Applications and Cosmetic Enhancement program. Her expertise extends beyond aesthetics, encompassing Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) acupuncture techniques and a nuanced approach to treating orthopedic conditions and chronic pain. Understanding the complexities of women’s health, Dr. Kim is dedicated to assisting individuals dealing with menstrual issues, infertility, and pre- and post-partum, providing comprehensive care and support. She is passionate about holistic medicine meeting modern beauty, mental and emotional health, and family planning, integrating acupuncture techniques to nurture balance and harmony.
